RMMLA Financial Assistance Program

The Financial Assistance Program is a community-focused initiative offered by the Ridge Meadows Minor Lacrosse Association (RMMLA) to help ensure that every child has the opportunity to participate in lacrosse, regardless of their family’s financial circumstances. We believe that sport plays an important role in building confidence, teamwork, friendships, and a sense of belonging, and that financial barriers should not prevent a child from experiencing the benefits of being part of a lacrosse team.

The program provides confidential financial assistance to families who may require support with costs associated with participating in lacrosse. Assistance may include, but is not limited to, registration fees, team fees, equipment, and travel expenses.

All applications and personal information are treated with the utmost confidentiality and are only accessible to the designated RMMLA individuals responsible for reviewing financial assistance requests. Each application is considered carefully and respectfully, with privacy, dignity, and fairness at the heart of the process. Our goal is to provide support in a welcoming, understanding, and judgment-free manner.

Through the Financial Assistance Program, RMMLA is committed to strengthening our lacrosse community by helping more children participate, develop their skills, build meaningful connections, and thrive in a positive team environment. We want every child in Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge to have the opportunity to experience the enjoyment, teamwork, and sense of community that lacrosse provides.

RMMLA believes that financial circumstances should not be a barrier to participation.
